"Awful Customer Support"
I’m echoing what others have said – the after sales service is just terrible. They take ages to get back to you, and I find myself having to chase them down all the time. The sensors don’t work right, and when I brought this up to Plume, they did send out replacements, which I appreciate...but guess what? Those replacements were faulty as well. So, I requested a refund, and they bizarrely claimed that the sensors might not actually be defective, saying I can’t get a refund since I’m still under warranty.
What’s up with that? How does that even make sense? If the sensors were fine, Plume wouldn’t have rushed to send new ones, right? Now, it’s been several months of me dealing with this mess, and I have to keep following up for any updates.
"Disappointing After-Sales Support"
I had a really frustrating time with their after-purchase help. There's just a chat option (which ain't working today) and an email service that takes ages to respond. I've been waiting for a reply for nearly a month now. The gadget is still under warranty, and honestly, I wouldn't suggest this product to anyone, nor would I buy it again. UPDATE: Things have gotten better. They reached out to me, and my device got swapped out. I still have some questions about how accurate their measurements are, but it's pretty handy and I hope they keep making improvements down the line. Great concept.

"Purchased Two Flows"
I got my hands on two flows; the first one went to my little boy, and the second generation is always with me. With the wildfires happening in California, this thing has been a lifesaver for managing our asthma flare-ups.

"Fantastic gadget, but the app needs improvement"
This gadget is fantastic. A lot of folks are curious about the readings it provides, and quite a few have expressed concerns! Raising awareness with a tool like this is just what we need to spark change. One downside is the app, which feels pretty basic considering the data it gathers from my device and others. The app hasn’t changed much since I got my first Flow, and it could really use some upgrades. It’s a bit buggy at times, losing connection and GPS data, and the history feature is quite limited. I’d be glad to share some ideas if that would be useful.

"Setting up Flow was a breeze"
Getting Flow up and running was super simple, and the guidelines were straightforward. After a couple of months, I ran into a minor hiccup where the app wasn’t displaying data from yesterday, even though it was part of the downloaded info. I hopped online and used the chat feature on their site to figure out what was going on, and they told me there was an issue with the battery in my device, so they sent me a replacement. I ended up using both devices side by side, and the old one was showing way worse air quality compared to the new one. I was curious about how to tell if the new one was giving accurate readings since neither device indicated that its data was off. Unfortunately, I didn’t get a satisfactory response from Plume!

"Pollution in the car during highway travel"
During a recent drive from Brussels to Avignon on the autoroute, I realized I had exposed my lungs, which are affected by COPD, to 11 hours of elevated pollution levels. This is quite risky for me, and I need to steer clear of it in the future! It would be fascinating to check the pollution levels when taking the TGV for the same journey. Also, I’m curious if Plume tracks pollen pollution too?

"My favorite small device I got in 2020"
I've been using the plume daily since I got it, and it keeps me in the loop about my surroundings. Inside my home, I rely on the plume as a standalone monitor. It helps me check the air quality, so I can figure out how high to set my air purifier. This really gives me peace of mind.

"Plume Labs is a must-try for all!"
I totally suggest giving Plume Labs a shot. It’s great for monitoring air quality, adjusting how you move around, and super user-friendly. Also, I had a minor issue after a year, and the support team was amazing—they replaced it right away. Seriously, 10 out of 10 for their customer service!

"Information Anytime, Anywhere"
Information anytime, anywhere! I really dig how you can easily ask for a reading whenever you need it. Plus, it’s super handy that the app shows the routes associated with pollution. Just wish it had a feature to give a timeline overview, whether for a single day or over multiple days and weeks.
"Powerful Flow Tool"
Flow is fantastic! Super user-friendly, I find myself checking it multiple times daily (especially since I'm cooped up at home!). It's incredible to notice the changes when it rains or after we shifted our air purifier upstairs. I can link my allergy symptoms (and how bad they are) to what the device shows. It feels like I've got a sixth sense; with the gadget clipped to my belt, I just press the button and instantly know the air quality nearby. A must-have for everyone!

"I used to think I couldn't make a difference..."
I used to think I couldn't make a difference when it came to air pollution, and honestly, I felt pretty powerless. But ever since I got the Flow2 and started gathering data just by having it with me, I feel like I'm contributing to something that could aid research. It makes me feel good knowing I'm doing my part.

"Lasted less than a month with zero support"
I purchased a Flow 2 device right at its launch. Just a week in, the thing broke down. I made several attempts to reach out to Plume Labs over the course of weeks. They either brushed off my emails or kept telling me, 'an engineer will review your data.' With a PhD in Science, I can tell when something's not working. I'm truly let down by the way this company has handled my situation.

"Awesome tool for boosting engagement..."
This is an awesome tool for boosting engagement with air quality topics. The app is user-friendly, and with a little effort, you can dive deep into the data and export it for reports and GIS mapping. I took off a star because it can be a bit sluggish when showing your movements (like the GPS map of your walk or ride that tracks air quality); sometimes, you gotta wait a few days for it to show up. Other than that, it's a solid buy!

"Defective gadget, lacking assistance."
The device tends to vary a lot with its readings when used indoors. One moment the air quality looks fine, and the next it spikes really high. Recently, the fan inside has started to make noise too. I reached out via email twice, but sadly, they didn’t reply. From what I’ve seen, it seems they only pay attention to Trustpilot reviews.
It’s a real bummer because the idea behind it is awesome.

"Using the Flow 2 for Four Months"
I've been using the Flow 2 for about four months now, and I gotta say, I'm really happy with it. I just clip it onto my backpack whenever I'm out and about, and I also hook it up to my bike when I ride. The app on my phone works like a charm, connecting to the device without any hassle over Bluetooth, and the battery lasts all day long. No issues at all with downloading the data I've gathered, and I can even check it out on GIS platforms. Plus, the sensor is super lightweight and pretty discreet.
